Bright natural light of sun is known to make people feel energized and allow objects to show their real color when shone under the sunlight. After years of effort and development, LED have always aim to simulate the spectrum of sun light (natural light). Now ProLight Opto have introduced the Brill series which allow people to enjoy the natural light for indoor and commercial lighting applications.

ProLight Opto Brill series have adopted the blue chip with combination of red / green / yellow phosphor to simulate the full spectrum of natural light. The spectrum of natural light is suitable for human body natural rhythm; it can keep people awake in daytime and help people fall asleep easily at night. Due to this reason, most human centric lighting products are designed to simulate the full spectrum of natural light. Moreover, LED have been complained by people of its Blue light which tend to make objects look more bluish in color, but continuous wavelength of full spectrum can reveal the object’s true color and eliminate the bluish color issue. Thus, ProLight Brill series with the full spectrum design and 98 CRI is able to show the true color of any objects.

As the picture below, the red line represents ProLight Brill COB, which match more closely to the curves of 4000K solar spectrum. When compare to the other brands around the blue color region (430~460nm), the peak wavelength of ProLight Brill COB is lower than other brand to avoid blue light hazard and offer more comfortable lighting.

Furthermore, it is well known that high temperature in LED will cause light decay and color bin shift. However, ProLight Brill series through its unique phosphor blending technology, the control color shift can be minimized and light decay can be controlled within 7%.

ProLight dedicates on color-bin control technology in its COB products, which can all achieve within 2 steps MacAdam elipse. But with Brill series actually having a breakthrough standard of 1-step MacAdam ellipse, which is able to provide the best light quality to commercial lighting.

Brill series is designed in 16W COB with 98 CRI and comes in CCT 2700K / 3000K / 4000K, which is suitable for all kind of indoor and commercial lighting. Moreover, the full spectrum of Brill series can be used with 660nm / 460nm as supplementary light for agriculture lighting.
